Seed to Seedling

Seed-to-Seedling is an award-winning California native oak curriculum for kindergarten through sixth grade students.

The curriculum was developed by the Sacramento Tree Foundation to provide teachers with a set of lessons, created in compliance with the CA State Science Framework that focuses on the natural and cultural history of California's native oaks. This program is designed to assist teachers in K-6 classes to use the guide in classroom exercises. Trained docents travel to classrooms to give presentations and deliver materials.

Seed to Seedling is a fun, hands-on way to get kids involved with their natural world; these lessons are a perfect fit for every classroom!
