Be a Community Planting Leader
The Community Planting Leader (CPL) organizes and manages volunteers to safely and correctly plant trees at schools, parks, and other public locations. The CPL is responsible for making sure that each volunteer planter is warmly received and engaged through the entire course of the planting. The CPL must be aware that the objective of every planting is not to get trees in the ground, but to educate community volunteers and build awareness about the importance of our urban forest.
Training taking place Friday, November 1st 2013 6pm to 7:30pm and Saturday, November 2nd 7am to 1pm.
