Here are the programs your sponsorship directly supports

Partnering with neighborhood leaders and organizations to grow the urban forest in under-canopied communities.

Sacramento Shade

Replanting native trees and woodlands to replenish and sustain the native flora and fauna of our region.

Save the Elms

Training community scientists to monitor for Dutch elm disease in order to preserve the iconic elms that define our skyline.

Tree Care Education

Offering free tree care workshops to support and inspire stewardship of our urban forest.

Seed to Seedling

An award-winning native oak curriculum that provides 3rd and 4th graders with seedling growing kits and lessons about the ecology and benefits of California's native oaks.

Urban Wood Rescue

Honoring Sacramento's trees by keeping them out of the landfill and giving them new life as live-edge slabs and dimensional lumber.

Cleaner air, healthier communities, and economic prosperity are the result of a healthy urban forest. For this reason, our region's long-term health, economic vitality and quality of life depend on investing in and maximizing the benefits of our urban forest - it depends on our commitment to trees and those who champion them.
