Planting Trees for Wildlife
June 15, 2015
The Wildlife Care Association has over 20 new trees on their property which will grow to provide much needed shade, protection from the wind, and wildlife habitat. By participating in Sacramento Tree Foundation's Community Shade Program, WCA received expert advice on tree placement, planting and care along with the trees themselves all for free!
The young trees were planted by dedicated volunteers and will be watered responsibly with recycled gray water from WCA's washing machines.
This exciting planting partnership will provide benefits to thousands of rescued wildlife for many years to come.
Watch Good Day Sacramento plant a tree specially dedicated to the show.
