"Felled" Movie Screening

We are very excited to invite you to Sacramento’s premier showing of Felled, a documentary film about giving new life to fallen urban trees. Join us at the Tower Theater to see this terrific film and to get a sneak peek into what our Urban Wood Rescue program has been up to. The screening will be on Tuesday, March 6 from 6:30pm until 8:30pm. Get your tickets today, they won’t last long.

2018 California Arbor Week Celebrations!

Thanks to the passion and gusto of a tree-lover named J. Sterling Morton, Arbor Day was first celebrated in Nebraska on April 10, 1872 by planting an estimated one million trees! Since its inception in the 1800’s, Arbor Day has been celebrated around the nation as a day to plant and care for trees. How does Sacramento celebrate? Let us count the ways...
